DAY 13: Minecraft joins as an official partner for MCC!

Let me hear you make some noise, folks! It’s day 13 of our 15-year anniversary and with us in the ring block, we have the fight of the century.

In one corner, the maestros of mayhem, the creators of chaos. Give it up for Noxcrew! In the other corner, the notoriously explosive 15-year-old measuring a whopping 320 blocks tall – Minecraft. But hang on, we’re not supposed to be fighting each other, are we? Oh, yeah, that’s right! For the first time ever, we’re officially teaming up to host a special edition MC Championship and in-game live event in Minecraft: Bedrock edition! Let’s get ready to rrrruuuuumbleeee!

MC Championship, Summer 2024

If you thought Minecraft is all fun and games, then you’re correct! And while there is no wrong way to play Minecraft, there are most certainly ways to lose. This summer, Minecraft is joining Noxcrew in hosting the prestigious MC Championship (also known as MCC). This online tournament sees 40 streamers battle across eight mini-games for the prestigious, the pixelated, the ever so sought-after trophy! You can expect several familiar faces, some new friends, plenty of laughs, and some seriously impressive moves as players take on challenges inspired by 15 Years of Minecraft and the best of MCC! Exact dates and the nail-biting lineup will be announced on the MCC channels, so give them a follow on Twitter and join their Discord.

Join the knockout in-game player event

Sick of watching from the sidelines? Then get in on the action! Together with Noxcrew, we’re also hosting a two-week long, in-game live event in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. In this bespoke map inspired by both the history of MCC and 15 years of Minecraft, players like yourself can battle it out in a flurry of mini-games to see who stands as the unbeatable champion.
