Abductors hover over specific locations and... sort of just stay put. But only for a short time. After a while, it will fire beams at the ground, destroying those who choose to walk in them. Some abductees claim to have been taken to the Mothership, but we don't know what the Aliens would gain from this. Why show people the Mothership and then bring them back? In any case, it appears that the abductees stand to benefit more than the Aliens. Abductees who return usually have powerful weapons with them. "The more orange-looking orbs we could collect in the Mothership, the better stuff we were allowed to leave with," one abductee explains. "If we found orbs with little clocks on them, we could even extend the time limit." Abductors' locations can be seen on your map. They come in cycles, so we recommend that you investigate them thoroughly each time they come. Because abductors have limited space, there is a limit to how many can be abducted at once.REPORT ON ALIEN PARASITES
It stands to reason that Aliens would have their own species of wildlife. And it appears that their wildlife is very interested in ours. The Aliens have introduced a parasitic species to the island, posing a new threat to the ecosystem. They are, however, more helpful than the Aliens probably intended. If one of these mini-Aliens attaches to your head, it will drain your Health to 60. (The shield is unaffected.) However, this relationship is more give and take than it appears. They not only shield you from headshots, but they also make you run faster and jump higher. Parasites are afraid of water, fire, and, predictably, attacks. These creatures are frequently observed parasitizing chickens, pigs, and wolves. If you are harmed by parasitized wildlife, their slime will slowly deplete some of your Health. Defeating an animal that has a Parasite on it will cause that Parasite to jump on you, which could be a good strategy. We anticipate that their population will increase as they adapt to the Island.IO OPERATIVES HACKED SAUCERS
The Imagined Order has hacked the Alien invaders' flying Saucers in a decisive victory. The rate of fire on their ship's plasma barrage has been reduced, allowing for a larger window of opportunity to counter-attack and shoot them out of the sky!ALIENS HACK RECON SCANNERS
The Aliens have retaliated against the IO after their Saucers were hacked. Recon Scanners now take longer to recharge, and Recon Bolt lifetime has been reduced.STYLES FOR SUPER LEVELS ARE NOW AVAILABLE.
